Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement
Minnesota’s health plans support the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) in its collaborative efforts to address and solve complex specific problems in health care and avoid unnecessary duplication of efforts. ICSI members are medical groups, hospitals, nonprofit health plans, employers, and consumers that bring innovation and urgency to improve health, the patient experience and quality and affordability of care (the Triple Aim). ICSI is comprised of 50+ medical groups representing 8,000 physicians and is supported by member dues, sponsorship by nonprofit health plans and contracts/grants.
The foundation of ICSI’s work the unique collaboration and trust built among its diverse stakeholders, by being grounded in evidence-based medicine, and by tackling and solving some of our community’s most complex health and health care system problems.
